This quick guide walks you through creating a free account, setting up a project and viewing it in PlantView. It follows a simple, general workflow designed to give you a solid understanding of the basics so you can get up and running with confidence.

Before You Start

• To follow along with the guide, we recommend downloading the PlantView Workspace and a sample dataset. This gives you everything you need to complete the tutorial from start to finish.

• Here’s what to do:
  • Download the PDF Quick Guide
  • Download and install the latest version of PlantView Workspace on your computer
  • Download the sample dataset and extract the contents from the zip file

• Inside the dataset, you’ll find:
  • A PDF file titled House Layout
  • Three registered laser scan positions in E57 format each containing 42 million points
